Scaling Text Entities
Use the ScaleText command to enlarge or reduce Notes and SimpleNotes. The text position does not change, but you can specify a base point for scaling.
To scale text entities:
- Type ScaleText at the command prompt.
- In the graphics area, specify text entities.
- Press Enter.
- Specify the base point option for scaling:
- Specify Existing to scale the text relative to the current base point.
- or -
- Set a specific text justification (for example, Center for center point of the text baseline, TL for top left point of the text). (Vertical alignment: T = top, M = middle, B = bottom; horizontal alignment: L = left, C = center, R = right)
- Press Enter.
- Specify a new height.
- or -
Specify an option:
- Match entity. Scales the specified text to match the size of existing text.
- Scale factor. Specify a scale factor or specify the Reference option to enter a reference length and a new length.
A scale factor larger than 1 enlarges the entities by this factor. A scale factor between 0 and 1 reduces the entities by this factor. For instance, the factor 3 enlarges the selected entities three times, while the factor 0.25 reduces the entities to a quarter of their original size.
