-Rename

Use the -Rename command to change the name of Block definitions, Custom Coordinate Systems (CCS), DimensionStyles, Layers, LineStyles, Materials, RichLineStyles, TableStyles, TextStyles, Views, and ViewTiles.

It is the command window variant of the Rename command.

To rename items:

1. Type -Rename at the command prompt.
2. Specify the type of item to rename.
3. Type the name of the item you want to rename.
4. Type the new name.
