Saving a Drawing under a Different Name or Location

Use the SaveAs command to save a copy of the current drawing under a new name or location.

To rename a drawing:

  1. Click File > Save As (or type SaveAs).
  2. Do one of the following:
    • On the menu, click File > Save As.
    • Type SaveAs.
  3. In the dialog box, select a Cloud Storage and navigate to the folder where you want to store the drawing file.
  4. Specify the file details:
    • Name: Type a name for the file.
    • File name: Type a name for the file.
    • Save as type: Select a file type.
  5. Optionally, use the following options to copy comments and markups into the copy of the current drawing:
    • Copy comments and markups.
    • Include resolved comments and markups.
  6. Click Save As.

    • Save in: Navigate to the folder where you want to store the drawing file.
    • File name: Type a name for the file.
    • Save as type: Select a file type.

  4. Click Save.
