Dynamic Pan

Panning moves the drawing display without changing the magnification.

Pan moves the visible portion of the drawing in the specified direction without changing the location or the magnification of drawing entities.

Panning allows you to view entities previously not visible because they were out of the viewing area. When panning, the scale of the view does not change as it does when zooming.

To pan the drawing display:

  1. On the toolbar, click Pan .

    The pointer changes to .

  2. Hold down a mouse button or the wheel and drag in the direction you want the drawing to move.
  3. Place the pointer anywhere in the drawing.

To pan the drawing display using the mouse:

  1. Hold down the mouse wheel and drag in the direction you want the drawing to move.

    The pointer changes to .

  2. Place the pointer anywhere in the drawing.

To exit pan mode:

  You can use Dynamic Pan transparently.

Access

Command: Pan

Mouse: Hold down the right mouse button to pan at realtime

Mouse: Hold down a mouse button to pan at realtime

Wheel Mouse: Hold down the wheel to pan at realtime
