Managing Available Cloud Storage for Company Accounts

Users are identified by their user account.

In our cloud application, administrators can do the following:

• Manage the available Cloud Storage services
• Enable or disable the option to publicly shared drawings
• Enable or disable the Print to PDF option for publicly shared drawings

Users are identified by their SolidWorks ID.

To access your company settings:

• On the title bar, click the arrow button in front of your User Name and select My Company.

To add a Cloud Storage to your company account:

1. On the title bar, click the arrow button in front of your User Name and select My Company.
2. In Available Storage Types, enable the necessary Cloud Storage service.
3. Click Save.

   All enabled Cloud Storage services are available in the Cloud Storage Explorer. Users can connect and disconnect Cloud Storage accounts at any time.

To enable options for publicly shared drawings:

1. On the title bar, click the arrow button in front of your User Name and select My Company.
2. In Sharing Links, enable or disable the options:
   • Usage of sharing links. Controls the Sharing link tab display in the Permissions dialog box. See Sharing Drawings Publicly.
   • Print to PDF for sharing links. Controls the display of options for printing a publicly shared drawing to PDF format. When a user creates a public link for a drawing, he has the option to allow generation of a PDF file for recepients who get the link. Recipients can also download the document if necessary.
   • Maximum number of days. Specifies the maximum number of days before the link is disabled.
