Defining Block Libraries

You can define your own Block libraries in addition to the predefined ones.

The workflow for defining a custom Block library includes the following steps:

  1. Save your Block definitions in separate drawings.
  2. Open the Trinity Block Library and create the necessary folders.
  3. Upload the drawings to the folders.

Once you have created a Block library, you can use it in the application. If necessary, you can share it with your colleagues.

To create a Block library:

Note: Before starting, make sure you have saved your Block definitions in separate drawings.

  1. On the Trinity Block Library palette, click .

    The Block Library Manager opens in a web browser window. The available Block libraries are listed under Trinity Block Library.

  2. Click Create new folder .
  3. In the Create new folder dialog box, specify the name of the Block library.
  4. Click Create.

    The Block library appears in the list. You can add Blocks.

To add Blocks to a block library:

Note: You can add Blocks only to the Block libraries that you have created.

  1. On the Trinity Block Library palette, click Open Trinity Block Library .

    The Block Library Manager opens in a web browser window.

  2. Under Trinity Block Library, click the folder in which you want to add Blocks.
  3. Click Upload new Block .
  4. Navigate to the folder where you have stored your Blocks.
  5. Select the drawings in which you saved the Block definitions and click Open.

    The drawings appear in the list and will be available in the Trinity Block Library palette when loading the Block library.
