Activating a Layer

Use the ActivateLayer command to activate the Layer of a selected entity.

You can activate a Layer by specifying an entity on that Layer.

To activate a Layer:

1. Click Format > Layer Tools > Activate Layer (or type ActivateLayer).
2. Do one of the following:
   • On the Layers palette, click and select Activate Layer from the flyout.
   • On the menu, click Format > Layer Tools > Activate Layer.
   • Type ActivateLayer.
3. In the graphics area, select an entity on the Layer you want to activate.
