Layer Additional Tools

Additional commands let you control the display and the behavior of the layer of an entity. The most frequently used commands for working with Layers are groupped on the Layers palette.

There are three methods to select a layer:

• Using the Layers Manager
• Using the Layers palette
• By selecting an entity

The following commands are available when working with Layers:

• Saving and Restoring Layer States
• Hide Layer
• Show All Layers
• Freeze Layer
• Thaw All Layers
• Lock Layer
• Unlock Layer
• Isolate Layer
• Restore Layers After Isolating
• Activate a Layer
• Change Entities to the Active Layer
