About Sheets

A Sheet is a page that allows you to set up a printout or plot of your drawing.

Working with Sheets

You can create up to 255 Sheets of your drawing on individual tabs. The names of the Sheet tabs must be unique.

There are two modes to work with a drawing:

• Model mode. The entities in model mode constitute the geometry of the model.
• Sheet mode. The entities in sheet mode show the model in different views and let you annotate the drawing.

  In sheet mode, you can:

  • Add title Blocks to drawings
  • Display and print different areas and views
  • Create details of the model
  • Include part lists, legends, annotations, and instructions

Managing Sheets

The following tools let you manage all Sheets of the current drawing:

• The Sheets Manager

  Use the Sheets Manager to manage the Sheets of a drawing.

• The Sheet command

  Use the Sheet command to create a new Sheet or rename, copy, save, or delete existing Sheets. Several of the command options are also available in the Sheets Manager.
